Custom Knitted Blanket Manufacturer — OEM Throw Blankets

Knitted throw and bed-size blankets produced on the same knitting floor as our scarves and sweaters, so a blanket can share the yarn dye lot of the accessories it is sold beside. Size, yarn weight and edge finish are set per order; send the specification and we quote a range.

A Blanket Is a Yarn-Weight Problem, Not a Design Problem

Buyers usually arrive at knitted blankets from one of two directions: a home-textile range that needs a knitted throw, or an existing scarf and sweater programme that wants a matching blanket to complete a set. Both start in the same place — the finished size and the yarn weight decide the cost, and the design barely moves it.

Because the knitting floor already runs scarves, beanies and knitwear, a blanket order can be knitted from the same yarn dye lot as the accessories it sits beside. That matters more than it sounds: a throw sourced from a different supplier is the most common reason a coordinated winter set arrives with two slightly different shades of the same colour.

This page is a capability page, not a catalogue. We are quoting knitted blankets as a made-to-order programme: send the finished size, yarn, edge finish and packaging, and the quote comes back as a range with the minimum order confirmed for that specific size.

Why per order
A 130 × 170 cm throw and a bed-size blanket do not share a minimum, because they do not share a yarn consumption. Sending the size first is the fastest way to a real number.

What We Quote on the Knitting Floor

01 — Throw

Knitted Throw Blankets

The volume format for home-textile and gift ranges: roughly 130 × 170 cm as a starting reference, ribbed or linked edge, packed in a belly band or gift box.

  • Finished size set per order
  • Ribbed, linked or fringed edge
  • Belly band or gift box packing
  • Matched to scarf dye lots on request
02 — Bed size

Bed-Size Knitted Blankets

Larger formats where yarn weight dominates the price. Quoted only against a confirmed finished size, because a 20 cm difference changes the yarn consumption materially.

  • Size confirmed before quoting
  • Heavier yarn weight per m²
  • Edge finish specified per style
  • Sampling before bulk commitment
03 — Set

Blanket & Accessory Sets

A blanket sold alongside a scarf, beanie or sweater from one yarn dye lot — the format most retail buyers use to lift average order value in a winter range.

  • One dye lot across the set
  • One production window
  • Coordinated packaging
  • Quoted as a set, not as parts
04 — Yarn

Yarn & Colour Options

Acrylic for volume and colour range, merino and cashmere blend for the top of a range, GRS recycled yarn where a sustainability claim has to be evidenced.

  • Acrylic · merino · cashmere blend
  • GRS recycled yarn available
  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 yarns
  • Delta E ≤ 1.0 colour control

Knitted Blanket FAQ

Do you manufacture knitted blankets as a standard line?

Blankets are quoted as a made-to-order knit programme rather than a catalogue line. The knitting capability and yarn sourcing are the same as our scarf and sweater programmes; the difference is that blanket size, yarn weight and packaging are set per order, so every quote starts from a specification.

What information do you need to quote a knitted blanket?

Finished size in centimetres, yarn preference, colour reference, whether the edge is ribbed, linked or fringed, the packaging format (poly bag, belly band, gift box), and target quantity. Size and yarn weight together determine the price more than the design does.

Can a blanket be produced in the same yarn and colour as an existing scarf or sweater order?

Yes — that is the usual reason buyers ask for it. A coordinated set knitted from one yarn dye lot avoids the colour mismatch that shows up when a blanket is sourced separately from the accessories it is sold beside.

What is the minimum order for a trial run?

A trial run is quoted case by case and depends on the finished size and yarn: a small throw uses far less yarn than a bed-size blanket, so the two do not share one minimum. Send the size and we confirm the minimum before sampling rather than after.
